Senator Roger Sherman to Serve on the
Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry & Criminal Justice and Public Safety
Committees

Among other issues, the Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry committee has jurisdiction over the Maine Department of Agriculture, food safety, farmland preservation, and the Maine Land Use Regulation Committee.
As a member of the Criminal Justice and Public Safety
committee, Senator Sherman will be closely involved with any policy proposals
relating to
Senator Sherman, a former House member and a retired teacher and farmer, will draw from his experience, both in the private sector and in public service, to be a vocal and effective member of each of these committees.
