Governor Baldacci Proclaims February Sixth President Ronald Reagan Day

AUGUSTA – On January 9 th Governor Baldacci issued a proclamation making February 6 th President Ronald Reagan Day. In honor of the Governor’s proclamation the legislature will be holding a press conference at 12:00pm on February 6 th in welcoming center at the State House.
Governor Baldacci and the Secretary of State have been invited but are not expected to attend. Senate Republican Leader Carol Weston and Assistant House Republican Leader Representative Bob Crosthwaite will attend to commend the 97 th birthday of the 40 th President.
In addition to the press conference at noon members of both houses will be deliver speeches remembering the President.
