Senator Walter Gooley Co-Sponsors Bill Calling on Congress to Act in the Interest of Maine Citizens Concerning Medicaid Changes

Augusta – State Senator Walter Gooley (R-Franklin County) co-sponsored a bill which calls on Congress to withdraw the changes to Medicaid.

“The changes in Medicaid were made several months ago but more time is needed for those who will be affected in Maine to prepare for the cuts. It is certainly important to try and restore the funding but if that is not possible then organizations in Maine should have the opportunity to get ready and find other funding streams, Senator Gooley said.
